We want kids to have fun at the festival too! We have everything from amusement rides, painting pumpkins, a pumpkin derby and more.

Fitton Center Fun Zone

The Fitton Center for Creative Arts is collaborating with Operation Pumpkin for an enhanced kids zone. Throughout the weekend the area will feature a Zak Morgan, Miss Joanie, DJ Christian D, pumpkin painting, and pumpkin derby. Click here for the schedule for the Fitton Center Fun Zone.

STEAM Activities

Join Miami University Downtown for Hands-On STEAM activities for kids from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday. Learn new ways to enjoy science, technology, engineering, art and math.

McCloskey Museum

The Robert McCloskey Museum honors the famous children’s author and artist whose books reflect his early years in Hamilton. The museum is located in the Frederick G. Mueller Building, (the former Hamilton Municipal Building), but will have a presence at Operation Pumpkin with Daily story times in front of the main stage, coloring pages, and interactive story fun.

Amusement Rides

Get ready for a wild ride! Join us for thrilling amusement rides that promise fun for all. From the festival classics to heart-pounding rides, there's excitement for everyone. Bring your friends and family and create unforgettable memories with us. Rides will start at 4 p.m. on Friday and run through the festival.
