Food Vendor Application

The Operation Pumpkin committee is seeking food vendors that will provide patrons with a variety of unique food options to experience while enjoying the pumpkin festival in downtown Hamilton. The Operation Pumpkin committee will selectively curate the event and will make all attempts not to duplicate any type of food vendor.  

 

Preference will be given to food vendors who are able to attend all 3 days of the festival (Oct. 11 - 13, 2019); however, space is provided on the application to note if you are only available for certain days.

 

Applications are available from March 11, 2019 to June 7, 2019.

Final decisions regarding food vendor applications will be made no later than June 10, 2019, and all applicants will be notified. Please do not email or call prior to the June 10 announcement. We thank you for your patience as we select from so many high quality vendors!

 

Fee Structure, Insurance & License Requirement, & Additional Information:

  • Food vendor (food prepared onsite):

    • $400 one time event fee for 10’x10’ space.

    • $800 one time event fee for 10’x20’ space.

  • Pre-packaged food / produce vendor:

    • $125 one time event free for 10’x10’ space.

    • $200 one time event fee for 10’x20’ space.

  • If selected, payment is expected no later than 2 weeks after vendor receives notification. At that time, instructions for how to submit payment, as well as vendor rules & regulations and festival logistics, will be sent via email to participating vendors.

  • All selected food vendors, including pre-packaged food vendors, are required to carry their own insurance, naming Operation Pumpkin, Inc. as additional insured.

  • All selected food vendors, including pre-packaged food vendors, are required to have a food license. Those who do not currently have a food license must apply for and obtain a temporary license from the City of Hamilton’s Health Department.   • Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent(s), table, and chairs.

  • Electric is available for a select number of food vendor spaces. If you will require electric, please complete the Electric section on the vendor application.

 

If selected, the vendor will be emailed instructions on how to pay the applicable fee, as well as vendor rules & regulations, and festival logistics.
